Lamella settler modules permit an increase in the settling surface in decantation/sedimentation units, constituting the simplest and most immediate form of upgrading of existing installations as well as the best solution for the plant designer facing layout problems or who wishes to reduce the costs of the civil engineering works.Refill-Tech Solutions produces four different models of lamella settler pack which are employed in all types of decantation plant, clarifiers or primary, secondary or tertiary sedimentation units. The lamella modules with 45° channel inclination are designed to separate out oil and hydrocarbons present in discharge water by accelerating the natural process of stratification by gravity. āØThese are extensively employed in the most demanding applications such as flotation units or clariflocculators and can be supplied with frames for containment and/or lifting, executed in AISI 304, 316L or galvanised steel, support shelves or profiled wall-anchoring supports, overflow channels with Thomson weirs.
